Your primary responsibilities will include: Preparing tax technical research, tax correspondence and memos Reviewing complex tax compliance, including tax returns and election forms Providing support for team members on tax related matters for all clients Supporting the development and coaching of other professionals and junior members Working with other team members to review potential planning opportunities and to generate additional business for the firm from existing clients Required Experience, Qualifications and Characteristics: Designated CPA Currently enrolled in, or has completed, the CPA Canada In-depth Tax Course 4+ years of public practice experience, with a minimum of 2 in Canadian private company tax Strong tax compliance background with an understanding of the issues and challenges faced by small-to-medium sized businesses Experience with tax reorganizations and transactions Independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter Multi-tasker and can manage multiple clients simultaneously Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) – and commitment to maintaining an open, transparent dialogue with colleagues and clients Effective relationship-builder - we want our clients and your direct reports to enjoy working with you! ‘One Team’ mindset – openness to collaborate with all colleagues and bring positive energy to the team Annual Salary Range: $95,000 - $130,000 Are you ready to take your career to new heights?
