Save the Children International

Is this job info correct?

Save the Children International has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Transformation Project Management – FMS SaaS to join our global team.

Team Purpose

Across all sectors, AI, Data, and Digital capabilities are now essential enablers that help organisations make better decisions, improve quality, and operate more efficiently. In the development and humanitarian sectors—where every dollar directly contributes to improving children’s lives—this becomes even more critical.

Our Financial Management System is critical to the operational running of our organisation but is currently built on premise and needs to be migrated to a SaaS solution to drive efficiencies and ensure the long-term stability of the solution. To effectively implement the new FMS solution, we must decommission our existing system, ensuring transition of all processes and data and ensuring we adhere to global audit and data protection / maintenance requirements. This is a critical initiative that will work in partnership with the FMS SaaS initiative.

By embedding consistent project management practices and robust delivery disciplines across all FMS SaaS workstreams, we enable better prioritisation, stronger accountability, and more effective execution—ultimately helping us deliver greater impact for children.

Role purpose

The Project Manager for FMS SaaS will be accountable for the project management across key workstreams including integrations and broader design, working to support the Senior Project Manager and Project Lead.

The Project Manager will sit within the broader FMS SaaS Project team, and will work closely with the functional workstream leads, the Global Change Manager, the SaaS vendor, IT team, and beyond. In this role, the Project Manager will be accountable for ensuring adherence to the Project Lifecycle for the integrations workstream and broader design, including setup and maintenance of the integrations plan, supporting with facilitation of relevant governance forums, completing required status updates, coordinating key engagements with technical and business stakeholders, and partnering with workstreams to manage integration dependencies and beyond. It will be essential that the role holder has solid project management experience in a technical or systems delivery context, is comfortable working across business and IT teams, and can drive delivery through influence rather than direct line accountability.
