We are looking for a confident Strategic Buyer (Estates Fixed Assets ) with a passion for delivering outstanding care. You'll be working 37.5 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet. Joining us on a full time 37.5 hour per week basis, you will work in a remote capacity, but will need to attend London or Kings Hill (Kent) offices 1-2 days per week. Job Purpose To lead and deliver procurement activities within the Estates Fixed Assets category, ensuring value for money, improved supplier performance and stakeholder satisfaction across healthcare and social care sites. The role is essential to ensuring that procurement in this category actively contributes to the wellbeing of patients and residents, whilst supporting colleagues in their ability to deliver outstanding care. Key Responsibilities Lead strategic procurement activity within the Estates Fixed Assets category. Drive category spend consolidation across multiple business units to maximise cost efficiency. Analyse spend, prepare business cases, and implement procurement led improvement initiatives. Support key stakeholders in the management and evaluation of supplier contracts. Actively manage the Estates Fixed Assets supplier base, focusing on continuous improvement and cost control. Deliver procurement solutions that support frontline care services and operational excellence. Ensure category spend aligns with business goals and meets all governance, legal and regulatory standards. Experienced as a Strategic Buyer in a healthcare setting Highly detail-oriented & an expert on sourcing & buying on a large-scale Able to bring results within budget Experienced in buying phases, from development to implementation & contracts A strategic & analytical thinker & effective negotiator Solution-minded, flexible in thinking & innovative in approach.
