As our Manager, US LEGO League Events & Experiences, you'll manage the planning and delivery of the US LEGO League event ecosystem in line with our global strategy. You'll translate global direction into US execution plans, coordinate across internal and external partners, and ensure each US event experience reflects the quality, consistency, and purpose of the program. From seasonal readiness and event operations to volunteer enablement and continuous improvement, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing the LEGO League experience to life across local, regional, and national events.
Required Qualifications
- Delivered large-scale youth, education, community, or mission-driven events from planning through execution.
- Managed complex project timelines, logistics, stakeholders, vendors, budgets, and operational milestones.
- Adapted, deployed, or improved event guides, training materials, tools, or support resources that enabled consistent delivery across multiple locations.
- Supported volunteer, judging, refereeing, or partner enablement programs within an event environment, including coordinating readiness, training delivery, and operational follow-through.
- Used event management systems and supported onboarding, training, and adoption activities for internal teams and external partners.
- Used event data, feedback, and operational insights to improve participant experiences and event effectiveness.
- Managed event risks, resource trade-offs, and changing operational needs while maintaining a strong participant and partner experience.
- Worked effectively across US and global teams, communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders and representing US market needs in global planning.
- Tailored global event guidance, tools, and processes to fit the US education, youth programming, and community event landscape.
- Used event management platforms, collaboration tools, and data confidently while protecting LEGO Education brand standards and global program direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Coordinated STEM, robotics, or education-focused competition programs.
- Supported championship, showcase, finals, or other signature event experiences.
- Managed multi-event portfolios with regional and national delivery components.
- Partnered with global teams to localize and deploy event resources, communications, or operational standards.
What you'll build
- Annual US LEGO League event plans, readiness milestones, and execution frameworks.
- Consistent event experiences for teams, coaches, volunteers, partners, and families.
- A well-managed US competitive event operation that follows global direction for advancement, awards, judging, refereeing, event flow, scoring, recognition moments, and safeguarding expectations.
- US event communications, readiness materials, training delivery plans, and operational tools that support consistent execution across the country.
- US-based showcases, championships, finals, and other signature experiences with coordinated logistics, staffing, volunteer engagement, and partner readiness.
- Strong collaboration between US and global stakeholders to align local execution with global strategy, standards, and timelines.
- Clear ways of working across US Operational Partners, US Marketing, US Sales, Product Experience, system owners, and the Global LEGO League team for US planning, testing, readiness, execution, and post-event learning.
- Effective adoption and day-to-day use of event management systems and supporting technologies across US event delivery.
- Disciplined management of US event budgets, vendors, resources, spend, risks, and trade-offs in line with approved plans and business priorities.
- Scalable processes that improve quality, efficiency, and participant experience season after season.
If you've worked in a role where you've balanced multiple stakeholders, managed event operations at scale, and turned strategy into successful execution, you'll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to deliver high-quality experiences while keeping partners, volunteers, and participants at the center of every decision.
Life on the team
You'll be part of the US Marketing team, working closely with the Global LEGO League team, operational partners, and colleagues across marketing, sales, and product experience. We value collaboration, clear communication, thoughtful problem-solving, adaptability, and strong stewardship of the LEGO League experience. It's a team that shares ideas openly, learns from each season, and works together to create meaningful experiences for young people.
What success looks like
Success means delivering a seamless and inclusive US event experience while maintaining alignment with global standards and priorities. You'll build trusted partnerships, strengthen operational readiness, and create clearer pathways for continuous improvement. You'll work closely with US and global stakeholders to share US market learning, strengthen execution, and help the program grow its impact over the seasons ahead.
