Manual QA Tester

Affirma is looking for a Manual QA Tester to execute manual test cases against the client's public website and customer enrollment flows. Run regression passes each release cycle, document defects, and verify fixes. Work as part of a distributed global QA team.
Responsibilities:
- Execute assigned manual test cases across web enrollment, quoting, and sign-up flows
- Run regression suites on a recurring release schedule
- Validate forms, field validation, error states, payment steps, and confirmation paths
- Test across major browsers and mobile/desktop viewports
- Log clear, reproducible defects with steps, expected vs. actual results, and screenshots
- Retest and close defects after fixes are deployed
- Report status daily to the QA leads
Requirement
- Strong attention to detail and consistent follow-through on repetitive tasks
- Ability to follow written test scripts exactly and flag deviations
- Clear written English for defect reporting
- Comfortable with web browsers and basic tools (spreadsheets, ticketing systems)
- Reliable daily availability with overlap to Pacific Time working hours Nice to Have
- Prior QA or software testing exposure
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira)
- Experience testing e-commerce, insurance, or account sign-up flows
