Manual Tester – Banking Domain - Tieto Tech Consulting (m/f/d)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team, focusing on banking applications , particularly in the payments and SWIFT areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory requirements, and transaction workflows, with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and defect management. Key Responsibilities: Analyze business and functional requirements related to banking and payment systems. Design and execute manual test cases for end-to-end payment flows, including SWIFT message validation. Perform regression, integration, and system testing across multiple environments. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure quality and compliance. Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA, HP ALM, or similar. Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across systems. Participate in UAT support and production verification when needed. Ensure testing aligns with banking standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 20022, AML, KYC). Required Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the banking domain . Solid understanding of payment systems , SWIFT messaging , and transaction processing will be an additional asset. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM). Familiarity with SQL for data validation and backend testing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities. Knowledge of banking regulations and standards is a plus. Preferred Skills: Prefferred experience with ISO 20022 or MT/MX SWIFT formats. Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies. ISTQB certification or equivalent is desirable.
