The President of the Market is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving market targets. Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; coordination with sales; and hiring and directing the day-to-day activities of market staff.
Your Responsibilities and Impact will include:
Providing support in the area of market strategy and management.
Develop the annual market plan and the strategies, tactics and resources necessary to achieve system and goals.
Oversee and provide direction to market and competitor analysis.
Provide leadership, direction and management of the market research function.
Create an institutional and system-wide market reporting function that can track, measure and analyze performance.
Ensure all market communications are coordinated, support market plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
Provide input and support to the company’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and partnership arrangements.
Provide market skills and expertise to the company by building, developing and managing a market team capable of carrying out the necessary strategies and tactics.
Participate fully in professional societies and activities related to the health care and software industries in general and the marketing profession in particular.
Prepare presentations to explain the company’s current and future strategies.
Required skills and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field
10+ Years of Experience in a senior leadership role within the health insurance or healthcare industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a market or regional leadership position.
Desired skills and experience:
Experience with Medicare Advantage.
Proven success in managing and growing a health plan or healthcare-related business unit, with a demonstrated ability to meet financial and operational goals.
Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape, including regulatory requirements, payer-provider dynamics, and healthcare delivery systems.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
The pay range listed for this position is the range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of the posting. Once the interview process begins, your talent partner will provide additional information on the compensation for the role, along with additional information on our total rewards package. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
