Company Description Utama Partners is a subscription-based regulatory intelligence platform focused on Southeast Asia, providing structured insights across fintech, data and cybersecurity, energy and power, and carbon and climate sectors. The platform tracks licensing, enforcement, and market structure in seven core markets—Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia—plus four frontier markets. Utama Partners emphasizes rigor and transparency, drawing every figure from primary sources, time-stamping verification, and clearly indicating where regulators have not yet decided on specific issues. Compliance, legal, and licensing teams rely on Utama to quickly assess market-entry options, licensing requirements, expected costs, and potential penalties across jurisdictions. The company’s disciplined approach to data quality aims to help subscribers make reliable, high-stakes decisions with confidence.
Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Market Researcher. The Market Researcher will systematically collect, verify, and analyze regulatory and market data across Southeast Asian jurisdictions and targeted industries. Typical responsibilities include monitoring regulatory developments, conducting market and quantitative research, synthesizing complex information into clear insights, and preparing structured reports and briefings for internal and subscriber use. The role involves collaborating with subject-matter experts, maintaining data accuracy and verification schedules, and helping refine research methodologies and taxonomies. The Market Researcher will also contribute to special research projects, support content updates for the platform, and help ensure that Utama’s coverage remains current, reliable, and actionable.
