Marketing and event consultant in Singapore
Stirling MarketingOverview:
Stirling Marketing has B2B tech and SaaS clients across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia, and Japan. You're the person who owns an event from first briefing to post-event follow-up — not just show up and check boxes. If calm ownership under pressure, sharp attention to detail, and genuine care for how a client is left feeling are your natural mode, we want to talk to you.
- Full ownership of Southeast Asia-market event and campaign delivery.
- Real input into how the region's marketing runs — expected every quarter.
- Quarterly scorecard — you'll always know where you stand.
Location: Remote, based in Singapore
Engagement: Full-time (30-40 h weekly)
Reports to: Operations Manager / Client Account Lead
Travel: Local onsite event attendance required. Regional and occasional overseas travel may be required with reasonable notice.
About the Role
This role owns event and campaign delivery for Stirling Marketing's Southeast Asia-market accounts, based in Singapore. You are both the coordinator and the person doing the work: managing the full lifecycle of events and campaigns, supporting lead-generation activity, and keeping delivery sharp for the region on behalf of Stirling's clients.
You manage multiple concurrent programs and vendors. You are expected to flag issues early, track everything in Monday.com, and communicate proactively, without being asked.
The clients and programs you support will change over time. The standard does not.
What You Will Own
Event Coordination & Delivery
End-to-end coordination of client conference sponsorships, breakfast briefings, roundtable lunches and full-day conferences in the Southeast Asia market: logistics, materials, creative activations, vendor management and post-event follow-up.
- Briefing decks and event materials completed before deadlines, without prompting.
- Supplier and venue relationships managed proactively, including site visits as required.
- Sponsor content, white paper contributions and publisher coordination handled on time.
- Zero day-of issues attributable to planning gaps.
Outreach & Pipeline
- Outreach for Southeast Asia-market events, personalised, tracked and followed up at least two weeks before each event.
- Response rates and outreach activity logged in Monday.com weekly.
- Meetings booked and pipeline activity recorded and reported.
Strategy & Market Contribution
- Input into the quarterly Southeast Asia marketing plan per client — planned events, outreach cadence, content and campaign plans for the quarter ahead.
- At least one observation, initiative or market insight raised each quarter, without being asked — with reasoning and a suggested next step, not just an observation.
- Campaign plans for major programs ready ahead of deadlines, with options and expected outcomes laid out.
Content & Promotion
- Social media and promotional posts created and scheduled for Southeast Asia-market events.
- Marketing materials drafted, revised and approved on schedule.
- All content reviewed and approved before going live — nothing published without sign-off.
Client & Account Management
- Weekly client meetings arrive prepared — agenda set, action items tracked, catch-up notes shared.
- Client queries responded to or escalated the same day.
- Monday.com kept current at all times: tasks, statuses and deadlines updated daily.
Operations & Admin
- SOPs documented for repeatable Southeast Asia-market processes, clear enough for someone else to follow without asking questions.
- Time logged accurately, by client and project, in Clockify.
- Capacity flagged at the start of each week when workload is running high, with a prioritised task list covering what will and won't get done.
- A written handover exists before any absence, planned or unplanned.
How You Show Up
- You do not wait to be asked. If something is at risk, you say so early.
- You bring ideas and market insight without being asked. If you see an opportunity in the region, you come with a proposal.
- You track everything in Monday.com. If it isn't in Monday.com, it doesn't exist.
- You communicate clearly and always include links to a file, meeting note or task.
- You take the region's business culture seriously. Attention to relationship, accuracy and timing is not optional in this market.
The tasks can be taught. That quality cannot.
What We Are Looking For
- 2+ years in event coordination, marketing or account management — B2B preferred.
- Experience working with Southeast Asian markets or clients an advantage.
- Comfortable operating across multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly for event logistics and written materials.
- Monday.com or similar project management tool experience.
- Clear written and spoken English required; additional Southeast Asian languages (e.g. Mandarin, Bahasa) an advantage.
- Based in Singapore, with eligibility to work there full-time.
Availability & Hours
- Full-time, Singapore-based, with strong natural overlap with Australian business hours.
- Local onsite event attendance required; regional and occasional overseas travel with reasonable notice.
- Capacity flagged at the start of each week, not the end.
How Performance Is Measured
Performance is reviewed quarterly against a scorecard covering event delivery, outreach activity, strategic contribution and delivery operations. You'll know where you stand well before any formal review: events run to brief and budget, post-event follow-up lands on time, Monday.com and Clockify stay current, and deadlines at risk are flagged early with a revised plan.
What's In It for You
- Competitive compensation, based on experience.
- Genuine ownership of a visible, client-facing function — not a support role.
- Professional development and growth opportunities as Stirling scales.
- Exposure to B2B tech and SaaS clients across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Japan.
