Marketing Assistant

Position Summary The Marketing Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the company's e-commerce and marketing initiatives by managing Shopify administration, digital marketing programs, customer engagement, promotional campaigns, and marketplace operations. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain an exceptional online shopping experience, execute marketing campaigns, and ensure operational efficiency across all digital sales channels. This is a 4 month Temp Position Key Responsibilities Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement Manage public customer reviews across Yelp, Google, and Apple platforms. Administer and optimize the Yotpo Loyalty and Reviews programs. Configure and execute customer loyalty campaigns, including bonus points events. Monitor customer feedback and support reputation management initiatives. Marketing Campaigns & Promotions Coordinate the planning and execution of corporate marketing campaigns and product launches. Configure pricing, discounts, promotional offers, and sales campaigns within Shopify. Set up and manage Gift with Purchase (GWP) promotions. Assist in developing promotional calendars and campaign execution. E-Commerce & Shopify Administration Maintain the Shopify storefront, including site navigation, content updates, and theme enhancements. Manage Shopify apps, plugins, and integrations to improve site functionality. Support website backend administration, including payment gateway configurations and system settings. Ensure website content is accurate, current, and optimized for the customer experience. Product & Marketplace Management Create and maintain product listings for new and existing products. Manage product catalog updates, including discontinued, liquidation, and Return-to-Vendor (RTV) items. Support Amazon FBA and FBM marketplace operations, including inventory monitoring, reporting, and platform administration. Inventory & Order Support Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate inventory synchronization across sales channels. Assist with order fulfillment tracking and resolve order management issues, including held orders, tracking discrepancies, and system integration errors. Perform weekly inventory and RTV maintenance. Customer Service Provide customer support via email and phone. Process returns, exchanges, and customer escalations. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally. Reporting & Administrative Support Update weekly Buy This Brand (BTB) and RTV reports. Monitor operational metrics and prepare routine reports. Support ongoing process improvements and documentation. Assist with maintaining integrations between Shopify and downstream business systems. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred. 1–3 years of experience in marketing, e-commerce, or administrative support. Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms preferred. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and customer review platforms. Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central (FBA/FBM) is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and Excel. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Preferred Skills Experience with Yotpo Reviews and Loyalty. Understanding of e-commerce merchandising and product management. Basic knowledge of website content management and Shopify themes. Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and promotional events. Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems.
