The Talent
As a Marketing Analyst Co-op, you will play a dual role in both creating compelling marketing content and analyzing its performance to drive growth. You’ll work closely with the marketing team to develop engaging blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and landing pages that resonate with our audience. This position is ideal for a student who enjoys writing, creative problem-solving, and turning ideas into impactful content across digital channels.
In addition to content creation, you'll be responsible for tracking and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing initiatives. This includes building reports, monitoring website and campaign performance, and providing actionable insights that shape future marketing strategy. You’ll gain hands-on experience with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and various BI platforms—making this a great opportunity to grow both your creative and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.
The Commitment
- Write and edit blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and landing pages
- Support content planning by researching topics, keywords, and industry trends
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across all marketing channels
- Collaborate with designers and marketers to align content with campaign goals
- Analyze performance of content across channels (e.g., open rates, CTRs, engagement)
- Track website traffic, user behavior, and campaign metrics using tools like Google Analytics
- Assist in creating dashboards and reports to communicate marketing results
- Support A/B testing of subject lines, copy, and page layouts to optimize performance
- Provide insights that inform content strategy and improve lead generation
- Conduct competitive research and audience analysis to guide messaging
Requirements
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Webflow)
- Experience writing or editing for a blog, newsletter, or social media account
- Understanding of SEO principles and keyword research tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs)
- Basic design skills in Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite
- Exposure to email marketing tools like HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Customer.io
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets for data organization and light analysis
- Experience with Google Analytics, Looker Studio, or similar analytics platforms
- Knowledge of marketing funnels and customer journeys
- Interest in learning marketing automation and CRM platforms
- Previous internship or volunteer experience in a marketing or communications role
