About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized, collaborative, and exceptional writer to join our team as a Marketing Communications Specialist. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, this role will support the development and execution of communications that keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned. While this position will primarily focus on internal communications, they will also provide support for external communications initiatives, including public relations and corporate messaging.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer who can translate complex information into clear, compelling communications, work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal & External Communications

  • Draft and distribute communications supporting strategic initiatives, organizational changes, business updates, employee engagement programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Monitor participation, reach, and engagement to help improve communication effectiveness.
  • Draft content for newsletters, manager toolkits, and other internal communication channels.
  • Support communications that reinforce company culture, values, and organizational goals.
  • Support development of executive communications, press releases, presentations, talking points, and town hall content.
  • Assist with translating business decisions and organizational updates into clear employee communications.
  • Prepare and organize FAQs, communication toolkits, assets, and other materials as needed.
  • Help track projects and deliverables across all communications projects.

Internal Events & Meetings

  • Coordinate agendas, materials, communications, and logistics for town halls, summits, conferences, and other internal events.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in internal communications, corporate, marketing, or public relations.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, presentation development, and storytelling skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint; experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Supporting intranet platforms or employee communication tools.
  • Working in a high-growth, rapidly changing organization.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to simplify complex business concepts into clear and compelling communications.
  • Confidence working directly with executives and senior leaders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset.
