Supporting Content Creation from Concept to Capture
As the Marketing Content Coordinator, you will play a key role in bringing our brand to life by assisting in the development of all consumer marketing content production and seasonal content planning initiatives for the Brand & Content team. You will support the planning and execution of campaigns, photoshoots and video shoots and will be at the center of the action, helping ensure every project runs smoothly from concept to completion. The role will also assist in the production of social media calendars and creative assets. Led by Manager, Marketing – Brand and Content this position will best suit someone who has excellent knowledge of the creative process, familiarity with photo and video shoot production as well as strong organizational and project management skills.
Ready to make an impact? Here’s how:
  • Collaborate with the Brand & Content team, agency partners, and Creative team to coordinate and support the capture of marketing campaigns: visual content; content proofing and creative review; and product sourcing and administration for videography and/or photography.
  • Coordinate all aspects of both shipping and receiving of building materials, products, and samples for the purpose of photo shoots and video shoots – direct from vendor, from HHSL St Jacobs warehouse, and samples sourced through the Merchandising teams. Ensure returned products are processed and Marketing accounts reconciled. Collaborate with the Promotions team to ensure appropriate usage of the staging and storage space in the HHSL warehouse.
  • Attend photoshoots and/or video shoots – primarily in southern and southwestern Ontario, with ability to travel when required – to provide product support and content coordination.
  • Support the development of new social media content and revisions to existing social media content for Dealers’ digital and print use.
  • Maintain an accurate Contact Sheet for all existing and active photo and video content captured by Brand & Content team and its agency partners.
  • Assist Dealers by updating and maintaining the external Supplier Asset Bank and assist HHSL Team Members by updating and maintaining the internal repository of photos and videos produced by the Brand & Content team.
  • Provide administrative (i.e., reporting, logistics, planning) support and support all content production – including production of on-hold and in-store messaging audio files - working closely with the Brand & Content Manager.
We’re looking for:
  • Diploma in Business, Photography, Communications or Marketing with 3-5 years of experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of creative production processes, including photo shoots and video shoots.
  • Familiarity working with set builders, stylists, photographers, and production teams.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills – including familiarity with digital asset management – and the ability to manage production and planning timelines with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout the content planning and execution process.
  • Ability to prioritize and react to changing situations; work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Marketing communications experience, in content production and postproduction.
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite and Outlook.
  • Ability to work extended hours and to travel – when needed – within Canada, to attend photoshoots and video shoots, meet with agency partners, participate in annual Dealer events, and other role-related obligations.
  • The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.

  • The expected starting salary range for this role is $52,400 - $68,800; the final offer will reflect relevant skills and experience.
