Marketing Coordinator

Who We Are: Taiv is a fast-growing tech startup located in Winnipeg, Canada. Taiv uses AI to make business TV more fun, engaging, profitable, and easier to manage, starting with bars and restaurants. We've built proprietary tech that uses computer vision to watch live TV and improve the content with contextually-aware commercials, content, and games. Our tech also automates the manual AV tasks that venues have to do every day, to make bar management easier, standardized, and more profitable. We're venture-capital backed and graduated from Y Combinator, the world's top tech accelerator, in winter 2020. Program alumni include Airbnb, Instacart, DoorDash, etc. (www.ycombinator.com/topcompanies). We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team! What We're Looking For: This role owns the day-to-day execution of Taiv's marketing output. You'll work directly with the Marketing Manager to keep sales collateral sharp and consistent, run our social media presence, and make sure every external touchpoint looks and feels like Taiv. You'll plan and execute in-person events, build decks and packages that help salespeople close deals, and take on projects end-to-end once you've been trained on our standards. This isn't a "support" role where you wait for assignments. You'll be expected to own your work and move independently. The opportunity here is real. Marketing at Taiv touches all sides of the business: the venues we work with, the brands that advertise through us, and our product team. If you're a creative person who wants to build a brand from the inside rather than manage someone else's, this is a good place to do it. What You'll Be Doing: Build sales enablement materials that give salespeople everything they need to close: decks, packages, one-pagers, and any other collateral that makes the pitch tighter and more consistent. Own our social media channels across Instagram and LinkedIn. Stay current on what's working, what's not, and adapt accordingly. Managing and optimizing advertising campaigns across paid media platforms such as Google Ads, social media, etc. Plan and execute in-person events where Taiv is present, making sure every detail reflects the brand accurately and professionally. Maintain brand consistency across every external channel. If something looks off, you catch it and fix it. Work autonomously on projects after receiving direction from the Marketing Manager, handling execution without needing hand-holding. Support broader marketing initiatives as needed, filling in wherever the Marketing Manager needs capacity freed up. You are genuinely comfortable with AI tools and use them to work faster and better, not as a crutch. You have a real eye for design. You notice when something looks wrong and have the taste to fix it. You write and present with clarity. Whether it's a caption, a slide, or a pitch deck, you can tell a story that lands. You adapt when priorities shift, timelines change, or you get thrown into something unfamiliar. You figure it out.
