Join Assurant Creative Services as a Marketing Copy Editor & Proofreader supporting high-impact marketing content across digital and traditional channels. This role provides editorial governance, quality oversight, proofreading expertise, and AI content governance support while partnering with marketers, writers, and stakeholders to ensure all content is clear, accurate, compliant, brand-aligned, and audience-focused. What Will Be My Duties and Responsibilities in This Job? Review, edit, and proofread marketing content for clarity, readability, grammar, tone, structure, and brand alignment. Ensure adherence to AP Style, approved product information, compliance guidance, and brand standards. Provide editorial consultation and governance to writers, marketers, and business stakeholders. Recommend substantive revisions to improve messaging effectiveness and audience engagement. Fact-check content and resolve editorial questions throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain and govern Jasper AI knowledge base assets and approved content sources. Explore and document AI-assisted workflows and agent use cases that improve content development processes. Serve as a subject matter expert on editorial standards, grammar, branding, voice, and tone. What Are the Requirements Needed for This Position? Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Advertising, Publishing, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of copyediting and proofreading experience in an agency or corporate environment. Expert knowledge of AP Style and exceptional written English skills. Experience editing content across digital, web, email, social media, and print channels. Strong attention to detail, proofreading accuracy, and sound editorial judgment. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Jasper AI, and generative AI tools. What Other Skills/Experience Would Be Helpful to Have? Experience working in a large corporate marketing environment. Knowledge of CMS, project management, and MarTech platforms. Experience with Monday.com, Ziflow, Semrush, Jasper AI, or Contentstack. Strong collaboration, creativity, curiosity, and passion for language. #LI-Remote ENT1668 - Copy Editor Job Grade 09 Pay Range: $27.08 - $45.22 Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
