Effective law firm marketing is not about hype--it is about translating complex legal processes into clear, ethical, and persuasive communication that helps clients make informed decisions at critical moments. As the firm continues to scale, we are seeking a senior marketing professional who understands how law firms grow , how to manage people and systems, and how to turn marketing into a predictable business engine. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to lead and oversee the firm's marketing function. This role combines strategy, execution, and people management . You will oversee a marketing team of three (3), with potential growth to four (4) team members, while remaining hands-on with planning, quality control, performance analysis, and continuous optimization. This role requires a strong understanding of law firm marketing , particularly in a regulated, high-stakes practice area such as U.S. immigration law , where accuracy, compliance, tone, and credibility are critical. Key Responsibilities The Marketing Director will be responsible for setting direction, managing people, and ensuring consistent execution across all marketing channels. You will oversee the firm's website, digital campaigns, content systems, and brand presence, while guiding the team to convert complex immigration law concepts into clear, client-centered messaging. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a marketing team; assigning priorities; reviewing work for quality, compliance, and effectiveness; and ensuring deadlines and KPIs are met. You will lead the firm's website strategy, including structure, UX, landing pages, and conversion optimization, and ensure all content aligns with legal accuracy and business goals. You will oversee content creation across video, social media, email, and web platforms, ensuring messaging reflects the firm's expertise, professionalism, and brand voice. You will manage and optimize paid marketing efforts, including Google Ads and landing pages, with a focus on lead quality, ROI, and ethical compliance. You will direct SEO and GEO strategy and execution, including keyword priorities, content planning, and performance tracking, with an emphasis on long-term organic growth. You will analyze marketing data across channels, monitor KPIs, identify gaps or inefficiencies, and present actionable recommendations to firm leadership. You will implement systems, workflows, and tools (such as Monday.com and AI-assisted workflows) to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability. You will work closely with firm leadership to align marketing strategy with business objectives, intake capacity, and growth plans. Required Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of progressive marketing experience , preferably in law firms, professional services, or agency environments Proven experience leading and managing a marketing team or function in a U.S.-based company , including delegation, performance oversight, and mentoring Strong expertise in digital marketing , including SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), content strategy, social media, email campaigns, and analytics Proficiency with Webflow is required , including website management, page updates, CMS content, and basic conversion optimization Demonstrated ability to develop marketing strategy and execute end-to-end campaigns , from planning through performance analysis Experience managing budgets, timelines, priorities, and team performance in a results-driven environment Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to review, train, and mentor staff Data-driven and analytical mindset, with experience using marketing metrics and KPIs to guide decisions Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote, high-accountability environment Prior experience in law firm marketing or regulated professional services is a strong plus Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred; advanced certifications are a plus Mandarin Chinese and/or Spanish proficiency is a plus but not required What We Offer Competitive monthly rate based on experience, leadership level, and scope of responsibility Remote independent contractor arrangement (contractor responsible for local taxes and compliance) Flexible schedule with a focus on outcomes and deliverables Opportunity to build, scale, and lead the firm's marketing function , expand the team, and influence firm-wide strategy Performance-based bonuses tied to KPIs, lead quality, and departmental success Working Hours Full-time role Overlapping 4 hours with U.S. business hours (PST/PDT) is required Application Process Please submit: Resume/CV highlighting marketing experience, leadership experience, and technical skill set Portfolio or examples of marketing campaigns, strategic plans, websites, or content initiatives Practical assessment of relevant abilities Due to the high volume of applications we receive, contacting our offices by phone regarding this position is strictly prohibited.
