Marketing Executive – Events & Partnerships

📍 Location: Surrey | Flexible working, remote or hybrid

At Avendra International, we provide procurement services to hospitality, healthcare and education organisations, helping them manage costs and improve efficiency. As part of Aramark, our European marketing team supports the UK, Ireland and Continental Europe.

We're looking for a confident, organised and proactive Marketing Executive to join our team.

This role will take ownership of Avendra's presence at industry events, exhibitions and conferences, managing activity from planning and preparation through to on-stand delivery and follow-up. You'll also support industry partnerships, thought leadership and content, working closely with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.

This is a hands-on, varied opportunity for someone who enjoys event coordination, project management and administration, while also bringing new ideas and helping improve the way we work.

✅ What you'll be doing

• Take ownership of Avendra's presence at industry events, exhibitions, conferences and forums.
• Manage event bookings, stands, materials, registrations and event logistics.
• Work with Sales and wider internal teams on attendance, promotion, on-stand activity and follow-up.
• Coordinate lead capture and track event activity, outcomes and opportunities.
• Work with organisers to maximise the value of sponsorships, memberships and event participation.
• Review event performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build relationships with industry associations, publishers and strategic partners.
• Coordinate partnership activity, benefits and deadlines.
• Support PR, speaker opportunities, media engagement, thought leadership and marketing content, including case studies and Edge magazine.

🔎 What we're looking for

• B2B marketing experience, ideally including events, exhibitions or partnerships.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive, positive approach with confidence taking ownership of projects.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders.
• A confident communicator who is not afraid to pick up the phone, follow up and drive actions through to completion.
• Resilient and persistent, with the confidence to manage stakeholders and keep projects on track.

⭐ Nice to have

• Experience working with industry associations, media partnerships or event sponsorships.
• Experience supporting PR or thought-leadership activity.
• Fluency in a second European language (French, German, Spanish, or Dutch) would be beneficial.
