Role Description The Accounts & Recovery Executive internship is a remote role that supports financial operations and receivables management. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking outstanding invoices, following up with clients regarding payment status, and updating accounting and recovery logs with accurate data. The intern will assist in preparing basic financial summaries, coordinating with internal teams on billing issues, and documenting recovery efforts in line with established policies. Additional tasks may involve reviewing account discrepancies, supporting reporting activities, and contributing to process improvements to enhance collections efficiency. This internship offers exposure to corporate accounts management, recovery workflows, and professional communication with clients and stakeholders. Qualifications
Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, invoicing, and receivables tracking, with the ability to work accurately with numerical data.
Strong organizational and time-management skills to prioritize multiple accounts, follow up systematically, and meet deadlines.
Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills for engaging with clients and internal teams about payments and account status.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and office productivity tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, or similar), and comfort learning new financial software.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail for identifying discrepancies, validating records, and maintaining precise documentation.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate reliability, and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Interest in corporate finance, recovery processes, and enterprise operations; prior internship or project experience in a similar domain is an advantage.
