Job Description

You have an opportunity to bring your energy, innovative approach and creativity to help bring important medicines to patients. As the Neuroscience Marketing Intern, you will work closely within the marketing and broader neuroscience cross functional team to help execute key projects that will support the launch of new medicines, the commercialization of our recent neuroscience asset and the development of launch plans for pipeline medicines.

What you will do:

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing marketing tactics
  • Delivering internal communication campaigns
  • Supporting the materials approval process,
  • Exploring partnership opportunities with vendors and external collaborators
  • Planning meetings with clinical experts,
  • Planning conference investment and presence,
  • Supporting the commercialization of our newly launched Alzheimer's disease medicine
  • And managing projects that support Alzheimer’s healthcare ecosystem development.

What you can expect:

  • Gain experience supporting development of novel marketing and healthcare ecosystem solutions to support the launch and the commercialization of new medicines to Canadian patients,
  • Take ownership of key projects, building autonomy and empowerment as you drive initiatives from strategy through execution
  • Develop your network across multiple functional areas, including senior leadership, and gain a broad understanding of roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Learn more about our health care system, the Global pharmaceutical industry, neuroscience diseases, and our neuroscience product portfolio and pipeline
  • Lead and participate in company-wide team building activities for Lilly

Who we are looking for (education and qualifications):

  • University degree – ongoing Master’s degree
  • Learning agility, collaborative and proactive approach, team player attitude
  • Flexibility to work in different teams and across functions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong sense of accountability and excellent communication, time management and organization skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

  • Number of vacancies: 1
  • Start and end dates: January 4th, 2027 to December 23rd, 2027
  • Potential for an earlier start in December 2026 in a part-time and remote/hybrid model for proactive onboarding, after which resuming to a full-time hybrid model January 2027. Subject to the needs of the team, and availability.

  • Salary: 29$/hour
  • This is a hybrid role – onsite presence at our Toronto office will be at least 10 days per month, determined in collaboration with your manager and based on business needs. You will be eligible to receive a per diem for each day you work on site.
  • Interns are eligible for paid vacation and sick days.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$29/hour

Full-time equivalent employees may also be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
