Marketing Manager

Horizon Legacy is pioneering the use of construction automation and robotics to address some of the construction industry’s biggest challenges, including labour shortages, productivity, and housing affordability.

Building on more than 70 years of experience in infrastructure and real estate development, we are advancing new approaches to construction through onsite robotics and automated construction technologies.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a hands-on Marketing Manager for a 12–14 month contract to lead the execution of Horizon Legacy’s marketing activities.

Reporting to the CEO, you’ll work across marketing strategy, lead generation, content, digital marketing, events, market intelligence, and sales enablement. You’ll collaborate closely with the executive leadership team and other departments including Sales, Development, and Engineering.

The position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement, combining in-office collaboration and remote work with opportunities to participate in customer meetings, industry events, conferences, site visits, and demonstrations of Horizon Legacy’s onsite robotic construction technology.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Execute marketing strategies, campaigns, and the annual marketing calendar.

· Be responsible for lead-generation initiatives and support long B2B sale cycles.

· Create and manage presentations, pitch decks, project collateral, digital content, and sales materials.

· Manage website content, digital channels, and inbound inquiries.

· Plan conferences, customer events, site visits, demonstrations, and speaking opportunities.

· Execute education and awareness initiatives.

· Monitor industry trends, competitors, associations, and emerging market opportunities.

· Manage external agencies, designers, videographers, and other marketing vendors.

· Support RFP submissions and CRM systems.

· Support brand management, external communications, marketing budgets, and KPI reporting.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in construction, real estate, technology, infrastructure, engineering, or another technical industry.

· Degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

· Strong writing, presentation, content development, and project management skills.

· Experience lead generation, business development, or long-cycle B2B sales.

· Ability to understand technical information and communicate it clearly to different audiences.

· Experience with digital marketing and CRM tools; Canva, Webflow, and Zoho CRM is an asset.

· An interest in construction technology, automation, and robotics.

· Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment with evolving priorities.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement and requires regular in-office collaboration in the Greater Toronto Area, along with occasional travel to project sites, customer meetings, conferences, and industry events.
