Summary The Marketing Manager is responsible for all marketing activity for a portfolio of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). Depending on the local market and the center's needs, marketing activity ranges from B2B (referring physicians and alternative payers) to B2C direct-to-consumer (digital and traditional programs). This position works closely with the Operations team to support growth initiatives in each assigned center. This is a hands-on position where success includes "rolling up your sleeves" to drive desired results. This position requires marketing expertise and strong interpersonal skills to build and strengthen relationships with physicians, joint venture partners, center leaders, and practice collaborators. Work Schedule: Remote Essential Duties/Responsibilities • Working closely with Operations and the growth teams, develop a strategy for each region utilizing local market data to enhance the needs of each unique partnership. • Collaborate to produce and implement marketing tactics for assigned ASCs. • Understand each ASC’s healthcare marketplace to design marketing efforts to grow market share. • Utilize national program offerings to tailor customized marketing programs for assigned ASCs. • Work with each center to strengthen their digital platform, including websites, patient navigation, recall, lead conversion, and reputation management. • Provide consistent feedback to the broader marketing team on opportunities to improve national platforms and investigate new pilot opportunities. • Execute approved marketing projects/campaigns on time and on budget. • Understand the key business drivers of volume growth. Analyze growth opportunities and deliver thoughtful growth strategies to operations and physician partners. • Read and abide by the company’s code of conduct, ethics statements, employee handbook(s), policies and procedures, and other corporate mandates, including participation in mandatory training programs. • Report any actual or suspected violation of the corporate compliance program, company policies and procedures, harassment, or other prohibited activities in accordance with the company's reporting policies. • Obtain policy clarification whenever necessary and may use the resources available through the Compliance, Human Resources, or Legal Department. • Other duties as assigned. Experience/Capabilities • Working knowledge of the tools of Marketing and Communications: collateral, websites, reputation management, paid search, print, direct mail, internet, etc. • Basic understanding of marketing analytics, such as breakeven analysis and ROI calculations. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages. • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to project as a credible marketing expert and advocate for physicians and JV partners. • Strong personal presence combined with good listening and persuasion skills. Demonstrated ability to project a positive and energetic persona within the organization and when interacting with our physician partners. • Comfort level working in a matrix organization and able to balance competing priorities. • Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently while maintaining a professional, courteous manner. • Must be able to work well with others. • Strong verbal and written communication skills required. • Must be detail-oriented and organized. • High integrity, including maintenance of confidential information. • Must be able to exercise good judgment and positively influence and lead others, including handling confrontations with poise and a level head. • Based on business need, the ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends as approved in advance. • Effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and the public. • Communicate effectively both in person, on the phone and in virtual environments. • Recognize and define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and correct errors. • Understand and interpret basic financial data. • Interpret various instructions in various forms and deal with abstract and concrete variables. Education/Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in business or a healthcare-related field is required. • Knowledge of ASC operations is a plus. Physical Demands • Engage in various physical activities occasionally, such as standing, walking, and prolonged sitting. • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills. • Execute tasks that involve reaching, climbing, balancing, and adopting postures like stooping and kneeling. • Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds and repetitive upper body motion, especially for computer use. • Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment.
