Group Marketing Manager – 12-month Contract Location: Hybrid in Kingston or Toronto (York Mills) Please note the base salary will be determined by the successful candidate's education, skills and experience. The listed salary range serves as a general pay guideline for this position's pay level. Our hiring process includes AI screening for keywords and minimum qualifications. Recruiters review all results. Empire Life is looking to hire a Group Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team! We are actively seeking candidates to fill a current, open position. The total target compensation (TTC) range, including salary and target bonus, is $108,300 - $158,300. This TTC range is applicable to permanent roles only. The actual base salary offered within this range will be determined by the successful candidate’s skills and experience, as well as internal equity. What you’ll be working on Develops and implements marketing strategies that meet the needs of plan sponsors plan members, and distribution partners to optimize growth and retention of Group Solutions products Independently manage and streamline day-to-day marketing administrative operations, proactively taking full ownership of tasks to ensure seamless execution Partners with internal and external resources to create, manage and implement marketing plans and strategies that raise awareness, build the brand, champions innovation and increases visibility and consideration of Empire Life's products to support goals and objectives Develops, executes and measures effectiveness of sales and marketing campaigns deployed through various marketing channels (including email, social media, digital advertising) Develop and implement strategic marketing and communication plans to support Group Marketing Products and initiatives Provide input into the ongoing development and refinement of Empire Life's brand positioning and voice Provide marketing support for product launches, advisor councils, regional meetings, campaigns, and branding initiatives Utilize digital marketing tools and technologies to develop and deliver marketing campaigns and content, including leveraging social networking to achieve business results Creation of marketing briefs to identify marketing strategies, tactics, and rationale for Group Products and initiatives as well as the metrics that will be used to determine their effectiveness Leverages generative artificial intelligence to develop and enhance marketing messages, materials and communications Ensure our value proposition and key messages are consistent and resonate with the target audience Work closely with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners, to develop marketing and communication processes that ensure timely and effective flow of information Contribute to the preparation of business cases and cost benefit analyses for marketing campaigns and initiatives Utilize fact finding methodologies to gather industry, market, competitor, distribution channel and client research in order to understand the customer and develop targeted marketing communication tactics Drive end-to-end webinar administration, managing logistics, setup, and live production to deliver polished, engaging events. Manage administration and lead educational webinars, roadshow and support regional content required to raise profile of Empire Life in the market Manage external advertising relationships and partner on ad spend recommendations with the Senior Marketing team. What we’re looking for you to have 5+ years work experience in marketing role in the financial services, insurance, or group benefits industries Demonstrated experience in content development and strategic execution for a variety of media and channels, including email, web and PowerPoint Knowledge of virtual event platforms and the requirements of hosting them (e.g. BigMarker, etc.) Knowledge of Canadian group insurance, group retirement, or financial products and their use with advisors and plan sponsors is preferred Understands all aspects of branding and sales communications Strong understanding of sales focused approach and industry, distribution model, and clients Completion of post-secondary education with courses in communications, marketing, business, or graphic design Strong expertise in word processing, spreadsheet, email, internet, social media and presentation software and technology Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset Ability to apply new learning to solve problems or improve processes Clear writing, editing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as a team member Strong, well-developed organizational skills If you are applying for a position which is open to applicants across Canada, unless otherwise indicated in the position, language proficiency in English is required for communicating with customers, advisors, or employees across Canada.
