Marketing Manager, Events & Communications
CatalantAbout Catalant:
Catalant is the next-generation consulting solution that takes a unique approach toward solving our clients’ business challenges. We call it Consulting 2.0: it’s purpose-fit, fast, flexible, and a fair value. Partnering with the world’s top private equity firms and industry-leading Fortune 500 companies, Catalant delivers innovative solutions powered by AI and rooted in the kind of deep expertise and hands-on experience that drives real results.
Our marketing team spans brand, content, demand generation, SEO/AEO, PR, and sales enablement, with a particular focus on Private Equity and Enterprise segments. We're a small team and everyone here owns real scope rather than just a slice of a process.
The Role:
We're looking for a Marketing Manager who can run our events, seminar and webinar program end-to-end from concept through post-event follow-up. We need someone who's equally comfortable writing the comms and building the collateral that supports those programs. Events are a defining part of how our clients experience the Catalant brand. We don't run events for the sake of running them — every program, from an intimate PE roundtable to a large conference presence, should be high-touch, meticulously orchestrated, and grounded in real thought leadership that earns our audience's time. We're looking for someone who holds that same bar, not just someone who can keep a run-of-show on schedule.
Reporting to our VP of Marketing, you’ll partner with your teammates and external resources to make sure every event has a clear story, the right audience, and the collateral to back it up.
What You'll Do:
Events & Webinars
Drive the planning and execution of our webinar program: topic development, speaker coordination, registration pages, promotional sequences, and post-event nurture
Plan and manage logistics for in-person events and conference presence, including venue/vendor coordination, booth or sponsorship logistics, and on-site execution
Build event run-of-show documents, briefing materials, and timelines that keep cross-functional stakeholders (sales, leadership, PR) aligned
Track and report on event performance — attendance, pipeline influence, follow-up conversion — and use that data to sharpen the next program
Comms & Collateral
Write and coordinate the supporting comms for events and webinars: email sequences, invitations, follow-ups, internal recaps
Develop or brief supporting collateral — one-pagers, sales-facing leave-behinds, landing pages, social promotion — in partnership with our content and brand resources
Ensure messaging for every event ties back to our core narrative and is calibrated for the audience (PE, Enterprise, or consultant-facing)
Coordinate comms for larger consultant network
Curate and manage swag
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with sales and sales enablement to make sure events generate real pipeline conversations, not just attendance numbers
Work with our PR agency and internal stakeholders to align event moments with broader press and campaign timing
Coordinate with the PE Marketing Lead on segment-specific event strategy and with brand/creative on visual consistency across event materials
What You Bring:
3–6 years of B2B marketing experience, with meaningful time spent owning events and/or webinars as part of a broader generalist marketing role (not purely an event-logistics background)
Strong writing skills — you can draft a clean invite email or a one-pager without needing it handed to you in a template
Comfort owning a project end-to-end: you can plan it, execute it, and report on what it did
Experience working with marketing automation and event tools (we are transitioning to HubSpot; webinar/event platform experience is a plus)
Ability to manage multiple concurrent programs with competing deadlines, without losing sight of quality
A collaborative style — you'll work directly with sales, PR, and leadership, often on tight timelines
You understand that asking questions and asking for help are strengths, not weaknesses
You are flexible: you’ll need to attend most events and work your schedule around them.
Bonus: experience in professional services, consulting, PE/financial services marketing, or another complex B2B environment
Why This Role:
This is a chance to own a visible, high-impact piece of a small marketing team's initiatives in a growing organization. You’ll help build deeper connectivity between marketing, sales, and our community of consultants. You'll see your work show up everywhere and have a clear line of sight to your impact. You will learn, grow (and have some fun along the way) with a diverse team led by a veteran marketer.
