Role Description The Portfolio Manager role at Career Break is a full-time remote position focused on overseeing and optimizing client portfolios aligned with their career break plans and financial goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing portfolio performance, monitoring market trends, and making data-informed recommendations on investments and asset allocation. The Portfolio Manager will collaborate with internal teams to design strategies that balance risk, return, and liquidity needs, and will communicate regularly with clients to explain portfolio decisions and provide clear, accessible insights. The role also involves preparing reports, updating portfolio models, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulatory and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quantitative data and evaluate risk-return profiles.
• Foundational and applied knowledge in finance, including financial instruments, markets, and portfolio construction.
• Experience in portfolio management and investments, with a track record of managing or supporting client portfolios.
• Understanding of trading practices, execution workflows, and market liquidity considerations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear language.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and a high level of integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.
