As the company scales its marketing, content, and commercial initiatives across events, digital platforms, and new properties, the organization is planning for dedicated marketing services support to ensure strategic plans are executed efficiently, on budget, and at scale.
The Marketing Operations Manager role reports directly to the CMO and centralizes operational planning, financial tracking, vendor coordination, and cross-functional execution support across all marketing functions.
This role operationalizes and executes the marketing strategy as defined by the CMO.
This role is highly cross-functional and requires strong collaboration skills, clear communication, and respect for functional ownership across Brand, Creative, Live Events, Legal, and Finance. It does not set brand, growth, or creative strategy, but ensures those strategies are executed with discipline, clarity, and accountability.

- Continuously rationalize outside agency and consulting usage to reduce redundancy and cost, while improving efficiency
- Serve in the capacity of a shared resource for Marketing with all internal and external partners
Marketing Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
- Support the marketing planning process by consolidating departmental requirements and providing operational data to Finance as part of the annual budgeting process
- Review monthly and quarterly reporting on performance vs. budget and forecast provided by Finance with the CMO
Marketing Project Management & Execution Oversight
- As directed by the CMO, serve as the central coordinator for timelines, dependencies, and delivery across marketing initiatives. Ensure clarity of ownership and follow-through; does not assume creative, strategic, or functional ownership outside of marketing
- Provide on-site operational support at events for all Marketing-related activities and deliverables to ensure execution quality, timely issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination and communication
Operational Support to CMO
- Support the CMO as requested with overall coordination of day-to-day marketing operations
- Reduce unnecessary administrative and executional burdens in marketing in the context of overall company operational needs and requirements
- Provide updates and thoughts on how the approved AOP budget is tracking with data, analysis, and operational recommendations to inform CMO decision-making
- Provide support to the CMO as requested in hiring and managing operational and coordination roles as the department scales with the Company (e.g., merchandise coordination, hospitality, interns, future ops roles)
- Team with appropriate internal partners to develop and deploy scalable systems and processes to reduce over-reliance on individual contributors and external vendors, ensuring those systems and processes also integrate efficiently into overall company operations, systems, internal control structure, and workflows
