What You’ll Do
- Lead sales and marketing strategies that support profitable premium growth, market expansion, and corporate goals.
- Coach and develop Marketing Representatives through clear expectations, feedback, accountability, and succession planning.
- Build trusted relationships with independent agencies, producers, aggregators, networks, and other distribution partners.
- Create territory business plans that improve agency production, retention, profitability, and growth.
- Use performance data and market insights to guide agency reviews, new business initiatives, and distribution goals.
- Partner across underwriting, claims, product management, and compliance while contributing to strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, agency succession planning, and distribution expansion.
What You Bring
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a record of developing teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of property and casualty insurance, including underwriting, pricing, profitability, agency distribution, and market dynamics.
- Strategic planning, business development, and analytical skills that turn data into sound decisions and profitable growth.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Insurance, Finance, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- 10+ years of progressive property and casualty insurance experience preferred, including 5+ years in leadership within marketing, sales, distribution management, agency relations, underwriting, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated success leading sales teams, managing agency distribution relationships, and achieving profitable growth.
- Experience with independent agencies, agency networks, aggregators, territory strategy, agency performance, and retention initiatives.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions, agency succession planning, distribution expansion, integration, or strategic business development preferred.
- Professional designation such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, AINS, AU, API, or equivalent preferred.
