The India GCC team will work closely with colleagues across the UK and other global locations to deliver high-quality data, analytical and consulting work for major client engagements.

The team forms part of TransUnion’s global Marketing Solutions organisation and supports the delivery of data-driven insights that enable clients to make more informed commercial and marketing decisions. The role will report into the Marketing Solutions Consulting leadership team.

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Role Overview And Core Responsibilities

The Analyst role exists to provide high-quality data and analytical support across Marketing Solutions client engagements. The individual will work with senior team members to prepare, validate and analyse client data, helping the team deliver accurate insights and practical recommendations.

  • Collect, structure, clean and validate data from multiple sources, ensuring that it is complete, consistent and ready for analysis.
  • Perform data investigations and exploratory analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies and potential drivers of business performance.
  • Reconcile data across different sources and proactively investigate discrepancies before analysis begins.
  • Build accurate, well-structured analyses in Microsoft Excel and support the preparation of client-ready outputs in Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Support Marketing Mix Modelling and other marketing effectiveness work by preparing data, reviewing model inputs and helping interpret analytical outputs.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear messages that can be understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Maintain high standards of accuracy, documentation and quality control across assigned deliverables.
  • Manage assigned tasks against agreed timelines and raise risks, data issues or dependencies at an early stage.
  • Collaborate with consulting, data, modelling, engineering and delivery colleagues across the India GCC, UK and wider global organisation.

Required Knowledge and Experience

  • Approximately one year or more of relevant experience in analytics, data analysis, research, consulting or a related field. Strong graduates with relevant internships, academic projects or equivalent practical experience may also be considered.

  • A degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, engineering, data analytics or another quantitative discipline is preferred because the role involves continuous interpretation and validation of numerical information. Equivalent practical analytical experience will also be considered.
