Show job description

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste. Why do we need to do that? Because more than 1/3 of the food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, 10% of greenhouse gas emissions come from food waste!

As the world’s largest food waste-fighting app, we connect stores that have unsold, surplus food with consumers who buy and enjoy it. We're on a mission to inspire and empower everyone to take action against food waste, so we’re doing all we can to create educational tools, make our knowledge as accessible as possible, find new business solutions and even change legislation to reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast, with our community of over 120 million users in 20 countries, saving more than 600+ million meals from going to waste! But there’s still a lot more we want to achieve.

Your Role:

As a 360 Marketing Specialist (Partner & Consumer) (f/m/d), you will take ownership of the development and execution of marketing initiatives for Portugal. Your role is highly cross-functional, spanning across co-marketing campaigns with our business partners (B2B2C), B2B partner acquisition, and direct-to-consumer (B2C) initiatives on our owned channels. Working closely with the South Cluster Marketing Team, you will drive demand through co-branded activations, build lasting relationships with key partners, and manage our local marketing campaigns. This role combines strategic collaboration, data-driven campaigns execution, and hands-on implementation in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Head of Partner Marketing Cluster South.

Responsibilities include:

Partner Marketing (B2B & B2B2C)

  • Build strong relationships with the marketing teams of our top Key Account (KA) partners to pitch, secure, and execute high-impact co-branded B2B2C campaigns to boost consumer demand.

  • Collaborate with the local KA teams to help secure large Retailers and Food Chains. Organize relevant B2B events, coordinate exhibitions, and lead employee engagement activities to showcase the marketing value of our partnerships.

  • Continuously ideate scalable activations that make commercial sense to both the business and the partner (e.g., POS assets, trade marketing tools).

Consumer Marketing & Partnerships (B2C)

  • Own the local marketing calendar (CRM, SoMe) and implement multi-channel campaigns (Push, Email, In-App, SoMe) to optimize user activation, retention, win-back, and customer lifetime value (LTV).

  • Execute B2C initiatives that combine compelling brand storytelling with performance data, leveraging influencers, brand partnerships, and our own channels to balance supply and boost conversions.

Cross-functional

  • Work closely with our KA Team, Partner & B2C Marketing, PR, Global Partner Marketing & Creative studio teams to amplify relevant local activity through partner & owned channels.

  • Measure campaign ROI to maximize our impact, collaborating with the Data team to define analysis requirements and running A/B across messaging and UX.

  • Seamlessly execute day-to-day tasks such as Canva designs, localising marketing materials and creative briefings.

Requirements:

  • You have successfully completed studies in marketing, communication, business, or a comparable degree.

  • You have previous experience in a marketing role, ideally within an online marketplace, tech, FMCG, or F&B company, with proven experience spanning Partner/Trade Marketing and B2C/CRM channels.

  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment. Previous start-up or scale-up experience is highly valued.

  • You possess excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and are able to adapt your communication style to diverse stakeholders.

  • You have a strong drive to engage partners and consumers, in an audience-centric manner, with a clear commercial mindset and strong negotiation skills.

  • You bring a hands-on mentality, proactive initiative, and solid project management skills (we work with Asana, Salesforce and Braze).

  • You are data-driven with an affinity for numbers: you have experience analyzing campaign performance and optimizing strategies based on data.

  • You have a keen eye for design, a good writing style, and the ability to work on-brand.

  • You are proficient in MS Office and Google Workspace.

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
