Role Description The Marketing Strategist/Ads Specialist will design and execute performance-driven marketing and advertising strategies for a diverse portfolio of clients. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Abuja, with flexibility for partial work from home. Day-to-day tasks include planning and managing Meta and Google ads campaigns, conducting audience and market research, optimizing campaigns for ROI, and preparing performance reports and insights for clients. The role also involves collaborating with the PR and social media teams to ensure cohesive messaging, testing creative variations, managing budgets, and recommending improvements to landing pages and funnels. The specialist will regularly communicate with clients and internal stakeholders, translate business goals into media plans, and stay current with platform updates and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong paid advertising skills, including planning, launching, and optimizing Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google Ads campaigns with a focus on performance and scalability.
• Experience in marketing strategy development, funnel design, and data-driven decision-making using analytics tools and performance dashboards.
• Ability to collaborate with social media and PR teams on integrated campaigns, ensuring aligned messaging and brand positioning across channels.
• Competence in copywriting and creative briefing for ads, with a practical understanding of A/B testing, audience segmentation, and conversion rate optimization.
• Proficiency in tracking and measurement tools (e.g., pixel implementation, UTM tags, Google Analytics or similar) to monitor results and attribute performance accurately.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills, including the ability to present insights clearly and translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Proven experience in a digital marketing, media buying, or performance marketing role, ideally within an agency or multi-client environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Abuja, manage multiple campaigns simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with personal brand management, PR principles, and social media trends is an advantage.
