To drive this shift, the company is seeking an Application Security Engineer to spearhead enterprise-wide security initiatives. The ideal candidate will move beyond traditional rule enforcement and operational checks to architect, refine, and programmatically implement security mechanisms that empower business growth.

■Your Role

In this position, the engineer will serve as a Security Engineer supporting the company's businesses, products, and internal infrastructure, prioritizing and taking action on critical and high-urgency areas first.

■Responsibilities

You will be primarily responsible for the area of application security.

・Conducting security reviews of web applications, APIs, administrative interfaces, batch processing, and more

・Conducting threat analysis, design reviews, and risk assessments during the development of new features and products

・Conducting vulnerability assessments and providing improvement recommendations and support for remediation based on the assessment results

・Improving the implementation of authentication, authorization, session management, input validation, and sensitive information management

・Establishing secure development processes and improving operations in collaboration with development teams

・Conducting risk assessments and promoting countermeasures regarding information leaks, access controls, and output safety for features utilizing generative AI

Required

Practical experience in web application security

Expertise in the field of application security, with experience in driving vulnerability assessments, vulnerability remediation, secure design, and access control improvements

Experience in comprehensively addressing web application security issues—from identifying and analyzing problems to designing improvement strategies and supporting their implementation and deployment

Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders, including the development department, to drive security initiatives

Experience resolving application security issues through log analysis and incident response

Ability to prioritize tasks and independently establish strategies to drive initiatives forward, even in highly uncertain environments

Preferred

Experience designing, implementing, and operating network security solutions utilizing firewalls, WAFs, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies, network access control, and other technologies

Experience strengthening and improving network security, including internal networks, site-to-site connections, and remote access environments

Experience designing, implementing, and operating corporate security solutions utilizing Google Workspace, MDM, SSO, MFA, EDR, and other technologies

Experience designing or implementing identity management, device management, and access control based on the Zero Trust framework

Experience establishing a CSIRT or building and improving incident response systems

Experience with security design, configuration assessment, and monitoring/operation in cloud environments such as AWS and Google Cloud

Practical experience with security audits, certification acquisition, and responding to customer security checklists
