Job Description:

This is an assignment role ending after 24 months (12/1/2028). Location is open (either NJ or Chicago based).


Objective of the role is to deliver long term value leadership and portfolio health and unlock profitable growth opportunities while being in while being in compliance with external regulatory commitments.

This Brand Manager (BM) will be responsible for supporting the cell teams to drive overall Marketing Transformation in the areas of VL, Golden Gate sustainable pack transition, Portfolio Renovation, PPA, Portfolio tradeoffs. This role will cover overall strategy for the 3-5 year iVCP time period and is inclusive of end-to-end planning.


There are two roles opening – one supporting Seasonal, and one supporting Bars.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years Marketing and / or Consumer facing portfolio transformation related experience required, preferably within CPG industry
  • Experience leading transformation initiatives and end to end planning initiatives
  • Strong communication skills (oral, written, listening). This includes ability to give effective presentations to all levels of management.
  • High levels of interpersonal skills, specifically in the area of influencing without direct authority, resolving conflict, and creative problem solving.
  • Proven analytic skills. Must be comfortable mining and analyzing data, then developing clear and actionable conclusions/recommendations.
  • Proficient in managing complex projects. Well organized, successful at prioritization, attentive to details, clear oral and written communicator.
  • Biased toward action. Takes initiative, entrepreneurial, can hit the ground running and move projects forward right from the start.
  • Resilient problem solver. Can build consensus even if all team members may not be in agreement. Can find creative solutions and common ground in order to move key initiatives forward.
  • Proven track record in multi-year planning, forecasting, and P&L ownership.
  • Experience in end-to-end commercialization (innovation, supply chain, go-to-market).

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • This role will need to lead the cross functional team on the strategy, execution and implementation of aligned VL/Project Golden Gate pack sustainability transition/PPA/Renovation initiatives
  • Identify portfolio gaps, renovation/innovation opportunities, and brand rationalization needs to maximize consumer relevance and shareholder value.
  • Lead value-creation initiatives, including pricing, pack architecture, product & pack renovation, and supply efficiencies to improve portfolio profitability.
  • Lead portfolio transformation for North American Golden Gate and Freedom To Operate initiatives
  • Coordination of cross brand cell initiatives such as: iVCP, Evergreen
  • Project lead for high-impact enterprise level initiative requiring alignment across Marketing, Sales, Finance, Regulatory R&D and Supply Chain
  • Risk Management: Identify and help define plan to mitigate and communicate to key stakeholders

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 134,400.00 - USD 184,800.00
