Marketplace Operations Specialist – Food Delivery

SIPP Delivery is a fast-growing food delivery marketplace operating in Costa Rica. We're looking for a smart, hands-on operator based in Colombia to join our team and grow with us.

Your previous job title doesn't matter to us.

You may have worked in Operations, Marketplace Operations, City Operations, Courier Operations, Restaurant Operations, Partner Operations, Growth, Launch, Performance, Projects, Customer Experience — or a role that touched several of these areas.

In fact, the more varied your experience inside a delivery marketplace, the more interesting it is to us.

What you'll do

This is not a narrow corporate operations role.

You'll work across different parts of the business and take ownership of problems from beginning to end.

You will:

• Identify operational problems and find practical solutions
• Work across restaurant, courier and customer operations
• Analyze KPIs and understand why something isn't performing
• Improve existing processes and build new ones when needed
• Coordinate projects across different teams
• Help us launch and improve new markets
• Work on restaurant and partner operations
• Follow projects through from idea to execution
• Handle the unexpected problems that come with running a live marketplace
• Work closely with the founder on operations, growth and expansion

Who we're looking for

We're especially interested in people with experience at Rappi, PedidosYa, Uber Eats, DiDi Food or similar marketplace/delivery companies.

You don't need to have been a manager.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has hands-on experience in operations or a related marketplace role
• Has worked across multiple responsibilities or projects
• Is extremely organized and strong at follow-through
• Naturally investigates problems instead of simply reporting them
• Is comfortable working with data, spreadsheets and operational KPIs
• Can manage multiple priorities without losing the details
• Takes ownership and doesn't need constant supervision
• Is resourceful, curious and learns quickly
• Enjoys improving processes and figuring out better ways to do things
• Is comfortable in a startup where responsibilities evolve as the company grows

Spanish: Native or fluent

English: Strong working proficiency
