Summary:
The Data Supervisor oversees the Master Data Analyst team, managing the stewardship of changes and additions to material, customer, and vendor master data in SAP. Based at our North American Headquarters in Wixom, Michigan, this role elevates the Master Data function beyond transactional data entry by building a culture of proactive data stewardship, where the team critically analyzes and questions incoming data from other departments to protect accuracy and integrity. The Supervisor also serves as an organizational educator, developing best practices, supporting Data Governance SOPs, and training non-technical stakeholders on how master data impacts downstream business processes.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Master Data Analysts, fostering a culture of accountability and critical thinking to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Oversee SAP Master Data workflows, ensuring efficient execution of data changes, validation processes, pre-activation, and full material activation.
- Direct the analysis and resolution of complex data issues, identifying root causes and driving cross-functional solutions across multiple SAP modules.
- Establish and govern SAP data standards, including the development of clear training materials and the education of cross-functional stakeholders on proper data submission practices.
- Drive ongoing data quality initiatives, including systematic data cleansing and periodic reviews to eliminate inaccuracies and prevent future system conflicts.
- Ensure all master data processes comply with regulatory requirements, internal controls, audit standards, and change management protocols.
- Collaborate closely with PLM, Forecasting, and Project Management leadership to support operational excellence and cross-functional integration initiatives.
- Evaluate existing workflows on an ongoing basis (including SharePoint and SAP routing), identifying opportunities for improvement and recommending scalable solutions to DCX leadership.
- Perform all other job-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in business analytics and/or database management.
- 1+ year of supervisory experience and/or experience coaching, mentoring, or training others.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytical Science, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and working with large, complex datasets.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, evaluate systems, and assess program performance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proven ability to collaborate with and influence a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge of or experience within the automotive aftermarket industry preferred.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
This role requires driving, business travel by public transportation, lifting up to 40 pounds, and the associated hazards of an office environment and travel.
