Job Description This is a remote position. KINDLY NOTE: This position is eligible for only Australian-based candidates . Position Summary – Flexible, High-Impact Premium Remote Academic Role The Online Educator (LINC Fellow) functions as an independent academic contributor with LINC Education, delivering online facilitation services to postgraduate students enrolled in the Master of Teaching (Secondary) offered by Victoria University Online . The programs are delivered in innovative formats such as Victoria University’s block model, where students complete one unit in intensive 8-week blocks. This role is designed for experienced professionals seeking a flexible, remote engagement that enables them to: Work from any location with reliable infrastructure Engage with a diverse international student cohort Collaborate with global faculty and academic teams Deliver meaningful academic impact in an online learning environment Earn premium compensation and performance rewards The LINC Fellow is responsible for providing structured academic support, personalized guidance, and high-quality feedback to students. LINC Education is looking for qualified educators for any of the following units: Name of Units Timeline for the Units EED7002–Approaches to Teaching and Learning AEK7001–Indigenous Perspectives in Learning and Teaching EED7108–Capstone Research Investigation EED7001–Research Methods in Education Study Period 4: 29th June 2026 - 23rd August 2026. Study Period 5: 24th August 2026 - 18th October 2026. Selected applicants will be engaged as independent contractors and will be offered a competitive fixed remuneration of $6800 to manage a class of approximately 25 students. Further upsides are available based on larger batch sizes as well as achievement-related increments of up to 20%. Work Flexibility Commitment of approximately 10–15 hours per week, 7 days a week. Fully remote working model Requirement of a stable internet connection and a distraction-free workspace Availability throughout the week between 5 pm and 10 pm Melbourne time Roles & Responsibilities: The LINC Fellow is expected to: Provide subject matter guidance to a cohort of 25–30 postgraduate students Conduct 1:1 academic support sessions Guide students on course content and assessments Perform assessment grading with detailed, constructive feedback Manage and moderate weekly discussion forums Support students in developing academic skills such as writing, research, and time management Deliver timely, proactive, and personalised support to student queries Engagement with students will take place via email, calls, and online platforms within defined availability hours. Desired candidate profile: A Doctoral qualification or Master's Degree in Teaching and/or the relevant discipline area, or equivalent accreditation and standing. Minimum of 3 years of relevant secondary school teaching, research, and/or professional experience as a teacher educator in the last 5 years. Active registration with one of the state teacher registration authorities (e.g, Queensland College of Teachers, Victorian Institute of Teaching, etc.) Knowledge and understanding of teacher education policies and practices. Full working rights to work within Australia. An Australian Business Number or ABN, as a sole trader, or of the entity that will contract with LINC. Technical Requirements Personal laptop High-speed internet connection (>10 Mbps) Availability Requirement The candidate is expected to be available between 5 pm - 10 pm Melbourne time,, 7 days a week, during which they may put in 1-2 hours of work based on student needs and marking load.
