About the role
As a Match Administrator in GRID’s Production Services team, you will play a key role in delivering smooth, reliable, and professionally run esports tournaments. You will be part of the operational backbone behind GRID-owned and operated events, helping ensure that matches are set up, monitored, documented, and executed to a high standard.
You will work closely with teams, tournament stakeholders, talent, and internal production teams, acting as a trusted point of contact during live competition. When issues arise, you will help coordinate clear communication, support timely resolutions, and keep the tournament experience consistent for everyone involved.
This role is well-suited to someone who understands the pace and pressure of live esports environments, especially CS2 tournaments, and can stay focused while balancing operational details with real-time decision-making. Strong ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise during busy tournament periods will be essential.
You will also contribute to scheduling, documentation, and event coordination, supporting the continued growth of GRID’s tournament operations as the event workload expands.
What you will do
Day-to-day administration of GRID-owned and operated tournaments
Team-facing representative of CCT (specifically the PS / Production-Services-owned CCT Events)
Administrating the live games of GRID owned and operated tournaments
Documentation, scheduling and event coordination
Your skills will include
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple moving parts in a live operations environment
Clear and professional written communication
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers and operational documentation
Ability to stay calm and solution-oriented under time pressure
Good stakeholder coordination skills across teams, admins and external partners
Basic understanding of esports tournament structures and live event operations
Willingness to work flexibly around tournament schedules, including evenings or weekends where required
Understanding tournament tools, game servers, and match administration setups
Nice to have
Knowledge about the esports scene with a focus on CS
Experience of running tournaments/matches in esports titles, preferably CS
Tech knowledge of CS2 servers, tools such as eBot, TS3, and how to work with CS2 servers and tools such as FACEIT from organizer perspective
Experience with delivering GRID, HLTV or other data from CS2 matches
Basic knowledge of how Production works in esports.
