The Mechanical Design Engineer-II (m/f/d) reports to an Engineering Manager/Team Leader and is part of the Energy+ Global Process Engineering and will be a remote role in Poland. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Produce engineering documentation (on time, to budget, and of suitable quality) to support requests for quotes, customer orders, manufacturing, suppliers, etc. such as drawings, calculations, data sheets, and procedures which meets customer specifications, current legislation, and the Pall Quality Management System. Work as part of a cross functional team designing and detailing products ensuring safety, reliability, robustness, and functionality which is easy to manufacture, operate, and maintain. Provide manufacturing support to ensure factories have consistent output, quality, and costs. Participate in and lead technical clarification meetings with other groups at Pall as well as customers and suppliers. Participate in and lead troubleshooting and problem-solving activities with customers, suppliers on product technical issues. Through a process of continuous improvement and VAVE, develop the processes and products across all disciplines so that time and cost can be optimized whilst still ensuring a robust and effective process’ and products The essential requirements of the job include: Bachelor Graduate in Mechanical Engineering 2 years' experience in relevant engineering disciplines Good understanding of mechanical design principals relating to pressure vessels, hydraulic and process systems as per international standards Good knowledge of international drawings (BS8888 / ANSI Y14.5 or equivalent global standard Good 3D and 2D CAD knowledge. Good knowledge of major manufacturing processes including welding, machining, forming, molding/ casting, and sealing mechanisms. Ability to multi-task. Very good communication skills in English and Polish.
