Overview We are looking for a Design Engineer who will be responsible for developing 3D models, assemblies, technical drawings, and engineering documentation for airframes, manufacturing tooling, and other mechanical products. You will support the product from the initial design stage through documentation release and preparation for manufacturing, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date product data in Teamcenter. Technology Stack Siemens NX X for 3D modelling, assembly creation, and technical drawings. Teamcenter for product data, documentation, and revision management. PDM/PLM systems for maintaining structured and traceable engineering data. BOM management tools for creating and maintaining manufacturing-ready Bills of Materials. CFD and FEM tools for engineering analysis and design validation. What you will work on and what problems you may solve Create accurate 3D models of individual airframe components and assign the correct part numbers and product data. Develop complete airframe assemblies and subassemblies based on the planned manufacturing and assembly sequence. Prepare technical drawings and documentation that enable components to be manufactured and assembled correctly. Manage engineering changes, revisions, and documentation in Teamcenter in line with engineering best practices. Generate complete BOMs, identify design or manufacturability issues, and work with production teams to resolve them. What we are looking for An engineering degree and a solid understanding of mechanical design, mechanics, and manufacturing processes. Practical experience with Siemens NX, including 3D modelling, assembly creation, and technical drawing preparation. Experience using Teamcenter or another PDM/PLM system to manage product data, documentation, and revisions. The ability to work independently, proactively gather missing information, and take full ownership of assigned tasks. Strong communication, teamwork, adaptability, and the confidence to challenge assumptions when a proposed solution is not feasible or cost-effective. Nice to have A degree or professional background in aerospace engineering, aeronautics, or aircraft design. Experience designing airframes, aerospace structures, or other complex mechanical assemblies. Experience designing manufacturing, assembly, or production tooling. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Design for Assembly principles. Experience conducting CFD or FEM simulations to validate and improve engineering designs.
