We are looking for a Media Engineer to join their expanding team.

What we're looking for

• 3-6 years of experience building media or data processing pipelines
• Strong programming skills in Python and at least one backend technology
• Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud-native environments
• Experience with event-driven architectures (S3, SQS, asynchronous workflows)
• Knowledge of Docker, containers, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD practices
• Experience working with APIs and workflow automation
• Understanding of video formats, metadata, transcoding, and media delivery workflows
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Professional working proficiency in English with excellent communication skills

Nice to have

• Experience with media transcoding solutions such as AWS MediaConvert, Vantage, or Cambria
• Experience with Kubernetes or ECS
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, or Splunk
• Knowledge of streaming technologies, CDN concepts, and adaptive bitrate delivery
• Experience supporting AI/ML or analytics-related data pipelines

Your responsibilities

• Operate and improve end-to-end media processing workflows, including ingestion, transcoding, packaging, QA, and delivery
• Manage and optimize cloud-based media infrastructure
• Build and maintain workflow automation and deployment solutions
• Integrate internal and external systems through APIs
• Monitor pipeline performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement long-term solutions
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Support, and Cloud teams
• Create documentation, runbooks, and operational best practices
• Drive automation initiatives to improve reliability and reduce manual work
