Media Relations Specialist - Freelance - Short Project

Freelance Media Specialist – Greece Project-based | 2–3 days | September 2026 We are looking for an experienced Greek Media Specialist to support an upcoming short-term project in September. The ideal candidate will have an established network across the Greek media landscape and a strong track record of securing meaningful media coverage. Key Responsibilities Leverage strong existing relationships across Greek media, including broadcast, television, radio, business, news and other relevant media channels . Proactively pitch stories and opportunities to journalists, editors, producers and media contacts. Secure relevant, high-quality media coverage aligned with the project objectives. Identify the most appropriate media outlets and contacts for different stories and audiences. Manage media outreach and follow-up throughout the project. Provide advice on the Greek media landscape and the best approach to generating coverage. Strong, current network of contacts across a broad range of Greek media , rather than expertise limited to one sector or channel. Proven media relations and PR experience within Greece. Demonstrable track record of successfully pitching and securing coverage , not simply maintaining media databases or distributing press releases. Strong understanding of Greek broadcast, TV, radio, business and news media. Fluent Greek and strong English communication skills. Able to work independently and move quickly within a short project timeframe Availability Candidates must be available for a 2–3 day freelance project during September 2026 , with exact dates to be confirmed.
