BASIC DUTIES: As a Medical Assistant, the ideal candidate will deliver outstanding patient care throughout the entirety of our patients' visits, encompassing: 1. Patient Triage, Registration, and Intakes: Efficiently manage patient flow by conducting triage, obtaining patient information, and completing the registration process. Gather essential patient data, including medical history, and accurately record it in our electronic health record system. 2. Direct Patient Care – Pre-Op, Post-Op, and Patient Release: Assist healthcare professionals in preparing patients for procedures, including taking vital signs, performing IVs, and ensuring patient comfort. Provide attentive post-operative care, monitoring patients' recovery, and addressing any concerns or needs. Facilitate a smooth and informed patient release process, providing clear discharge instructions and follow-up care information. To ensure our Medical Assistants are fully equipped to excel in their roles, we offer a comprehensive training program that covers all necessary skills and competencies required for success in this position. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent work experience Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) Bilingual – English and Spanish. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of electronic health records (EHR). Goal driven.
