Description
Medical Billing & Credentialing Specialist
Full-Time | W-2 | Hybrid – Sherman Oaks, CA | $25–$30/hour
About Zeeva
Zeeva Behavioral Health is a woman-owned, therapist-owned and therapist-led group psychotherapy practice with offices in Sherman Oaks and West LA, and telehealth across California.
We believe exceptional mental health care should be deeply human and accessible. That's why we intentionally work with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and most major commercial insurance plans. Making quality care accessible isn't an afterthought. It's part of who we are.
We're a growing, boutique practice built on clinical excellence, meaningful relationships, and five core values: Heart-Centered, Dedicated to Excellence, Inspired Learning, Brave Reflection, and The Power of We.
The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, exceptionally organized Medical Billing & Credentialing Specialist who will take full ownership of our medical billing, accounts receivable, insurance issues, client balances, and clinician credentialing.
This is a hands-on role for someone who gets things done. You don't consider a claim complete because you submitted it. You follow it through until it's paid or appropriately resolved. You don't let denials pile up, applications sit untouched, or outstanding balances go unaddressed.
We need someone who can walk into imperfect systems, figure out what's wrong, fix it, and establish processes that prevent the same problems from happening again.
You don't just complete tasks. You own outcomes.
We're looking for someone who takes pride in doing things right, follows through, and wants to be a vital part of a team that values excellence, accountability, and genuine collaboration.
We'd love to welcome you to Zeeva.
Zeeva Behavioral Health is an equal opportunity employer.

What You'll Own
Medical Billing & Revenue Cycle
You're sharp, persistent, highly organized, and comfortable taking ownership. You know how to pursue payment for a legitimate claim, even when the first answer from an insurance company is no. You can spot problems in the numbers, navigate complicated payer rules, and follow through without someone constantly checking on you. You don't hide problems or wait to be asked. You communicate clearly, take initiative, and hold yourself to high standards. You work independently, welcome feedback, and understand that accountability and The Power of We go hand in hand.
