Greetings! We're inviting a select group of qualified Germany based Medical Coders to participate in a paid, remote medical coding annotation project supporting the development of clinical AI solutions.

About the Opportunity

You'll review consultation notes from private practices and assign the appropriate ICD-10-GM diagnosis codes according to detailed project guidelines. The work is fully remote, flexible, and ideal for professionals with experience in German clinical documentation and medical coding who are interested in contributing to the development of healthcare AI.

This is a short pilot engagement with the opportunity to transition into ongoing work based on project needs and performance.

Key Details

Role: Germany based Medical Coder with ICD-10-GM experience

What you'll do:

Review consultation notes from outpatient private practices and assign accurate ICD-10-GM diagnosis codes in accordance with the project guidelines.

Required experience:

• Based in Germany
• Experience coding diagnoses using ICD-10-GM
• Clinical or healthcare background, such as Nursing, Medical Assistant (MFA), Medical Documentation, Health Information Management, or a related field
• Experience reviewing and interpreting German clinical documentation
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Nice to have:

• Several years of professional ICD-10-GM coding experience
• Experience with outpatient documentation and coding workflows
• Previous participation in clinical data abstraction, annotation, AI, or medical data quality projects
• Familiarity with structured clinical documentation and electronic health records

Pilot Commitment: Approximately 1-2 weeks for the pilot phase with flexible scheduling, with a total of 10 hours/week commitment

Compensation: Paid contract engagement. Details will be discussed during the interview process.

Format: Fully remote and flexible to your availability. Training and project guidelines will be provided before work begins.

Next Phase: Successful pilot participants will have the opportunity to transition into longer term paid work if they are interested.
