Medical Director

Role Description The Medical Director is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility to perform some responsibilities from home. This role oversees the clinical integrity of medical-related content within Q.H.S.E training programs, ensuring medical accuracy, compliance with relevant standards, and alignment with best practices in patient safety and care. Typical duties include reviewing and validating course materials, advising on medical guidelines and risk management, collaborating with internal teams and external physicians, and contributing to the development of new medically oriented training modules. The Medical Director will provide strategic clinical input, participate in interdisciplinary meetings, support quality assurance processes, and offer expert consultation on health-related initiatives.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in general Medicine and experience providing clinical oversight in multidisciplinary settings.
• Specialist experience or strong exposure in Cardiology, Neurology, or Oncology, with the ability to advise on relevant clinical standards and patient safety considerations.
• Proven ability in Working with Physicians and other healthcare professionals, including effective collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Advanced medical degree (e.g., MD or equivalent) and valid professional licensure; board certification in a relevant specialty is an advantage.
• Experience with clinical quality, health and safety, risk management, or Q.H.S.E-related initiatives in healthcare or training environments.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the capacity to review and refine complex medical content for clarity and accuracy.
• Proficiency in English; familiarity with regional healthcare regulations in the UAE or GCC is a plus.
