We provide intensive outpatient services to adults, teens, and children who suffer from mental health challenges, emotional conditions, and mental health and substance abuse co-occurring disorders. Job Details Title: Medical Director, New Therapy Perspectives Description: Ensures that clients receive the best care possible. Works closely with clinicians and other medical professionals to identify recurring health trends and to determine new treatment methods. Maintains business relationships with vendors and community partners as needed. Provides intensive education to clients with identified mental health, emotional health or substance abuse conditions. The Medical Director is responsible for engaging clients and their families/significant others through both the Mental Health and Substance Dependency treatment process. He/She/They ensures that all required case notes and documentation are prepared and completed with the highest possible quality. All Initial Bio-Psychosocial Comprehensive Assessments, Treatment Plans, and other required documentation are completed, reviewed, approved, and signed in alignment with all regulatory documentation requirements. Executes screenings or other medical tests as well as the analyzing the results when necessary. Reviews healthcare laws and regulations to implement in daily practices, monitors and assist Business Owner and CEO with developing strategies to improve operational productivity, quality of care, and productivity. Essential Job Functions: Assist the Business Owner and CEO by ensuring that the facility complies with the federal rules, regulations, and codes Enhances cooperation between Nurses, Physicians, and relevant medical professionals. Fosters healthy relationships with community partners as a way of building a sustainable referral network. Periodically works with Business Owner and CEO to evaluate the coordination of the care provided by the medical team to ensure the success of the organization. Requirements: Board Certified, Licensed doctor with an M.D. Degree of Psychiatry from an accredited college/university At Least 5-7 Years of experience as a Medical Director of Behavioral Health Must be a licensed professional, (i.e. MD Psychiatry) Able to pass a Level II background check. Valid driver's license with clean driving record and state minimum required vehicle insurance coverage Being bilingual is not required but is a preferred skill for this position.
