Role Description This is a part-time hybrid Medical Doctor role based in Zurich, with flexibility for some work from home. The Medical Doctor will provide evidence-based primary care consultations, both in-person and via digital channels, ensuring safe, high-quality, and patient-centered treatment plans. Responsibilities include reviewing and validating AI-generated recommendations, monitoring patient progress, and coordinating follow-up care when needed. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to refine clinical workflows, contribute to medical content and protocols, and support wellness programs focused on mental health, fitness, and nutrition. The Medical Doctor will also document encounters accurately, maintain regulatory and ethical standards, and help improve the overall patient experience through feedback on Mednevo’s technology-driven services.
Qualifications
- Licensed Medical Doctor with completed medical degree and recognized board certification in primary care, internal medicine, or family medicine (or equivalent for Switzerland).
- Clinical skills in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient follow-up, with a strong commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient safety.
- Comfort working with digital health tools, telemedicine platforms, and AI-assisted decision support systems, with openness to innovation in care delivery.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex medical information in clear, accessible language to diverse patient populations.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, managing both in-person consultations in Zurich and remote care, with solid time-management and organizational skills.
- Experience or interest in preventive medicine, mental health, fitness, and nutrition, and supporting patients through tailored wellness programs.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in German or other local languages is a strong advantage.
- Prior experience in digital health, telemedicine, or startup environments is beneficial.
