Role Description
The Workflow Accountability Manager is a remote, contract role responsible for overseeing and optimizing radiology workflow processes across multiple clinical sites and teleradiology environments. This position focuses on ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent interpretation of imaging studies by monitoring performance metrics, addressing bottlenecks, and coordinating with clinical and operational teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing workflow data, calling in critical calls, identifying process gaps, implementing standardized protocols, and collaborating with radiologists, technologists, and administrative staff to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Qualifications
- Licensed Medical Doctor
- Demonstrated experience in workflow management, quality improvement, or clinical operations.
- Strong skills in process analysis, performance metrics review, and root-cause problem solving to identify and address workflow issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including radiologists, technologists, IT, and administrative staff, to implement process improvements.
- Comfort working with high-tech radiology information systems and PACS.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to provide clear feedback, documentation, and guidance to clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accountability to timelines
