Company Description The Student Scientific Association of Radiology®, established on February 18, 2022, is a student-centered organization dedicated to radiology education and research. The association organizes educational workshops, supports research projects, and facilitates student dissertations and reading sessions, all under the guidance of experienced faculty from medical universities. It actively collaborates with the Advanced Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology Research Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences and the Radiology Research Center of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences. Role Description The Medical Illustrator volunteer will create clear, accurate, and engaging visual materials that support radiology education, research presentations, and student learning resources. Day-to-day tasks include producing medical and technical illustrations of human anatomy and radiologic procedures, designing graphics for teaching materials, and adapting complex radiology concepts into visual formats suitable for students and faculty. The role involves collaborating remotely with student teams and faculty advisors to refine visual content, ensure scientific accuracy, and align materials with educational objectives. This is a volunteer, remote role, offering flexible scheduling and opportunities to build a portfolio in medical and scientific illustration.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Medical Illustration and Technical Illustration, with the ability to represent radiologic structures and procedures accurately.
• Solid understanding of Human Anatomy, particularly as it relates to imaging modalities and radiologic interpretation.
• Proficiency in Graphics and Graphic Design, including use of digital illustration tools and layout software.
• Attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and commitment to scientific accuracy in educational materials.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prior experience or coursework in medical illustration, radiology, biomedical sciences, or related fields is beneficial.
• Portfolio or samples of relevant illustration or design work demonstrating technical and anatomical accuracy.
