About The Role
MOGEL, on behalf of a healthcare technology company focused on proactive patient care through advanced analytics and real-time insight, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive
Intake Specialist to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role is responsible for supporting critical intake and administrative functions that contribute directly to operational efficiency, billing accuracy, and overall revenue cycle performance.

This position offers flexibility through both fully remote and hybrid work options, depending on candidate location and business needs.
The Intake Specialist reports directly to the Revenue Cycle Manager and plays a key role in ensuring compliance with company standards as well as applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely census management processes
- Manage patient insurance verification and demographic information with precision
- Support departmental revenue cycle objectives through efficient task execution
- Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism in all interactions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, facility staff, insurance payers, and third-party vendors
- Follow established workflows, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Participate in ongoing training and process improvement initiatives
- Prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a deadline-driven environment
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support departmental and organizational goals
- Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare/medical office software
- Prior experience in healthcare billing, credentialing, contracting, or intake operations preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote or hybrid environment
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Understanding of revenue cycle management processes and healthcare payer systems
- Knowledge of billing practices and regulatory compliance standards preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to adapt positively to change and process improvements

Preferred Experience
Experience supporting intake operations in the following states is a plus, but not required:
California, Oregon, Indiana, Illinois, Florida, and Missouri.
