Medical Operations Associate

Summary:


Provides senior / advanced medical and scientific (MS) or drug development services (DDS) operational support to internal and external stakeholders under the guidance of the Medical Monitor/Director. Ensures high‑quality execution of medical monitoring or drug development activities in compliance with ICON standards, study protocols, and regulatory requirements. Mentors junior staff, provides project leadership, contributes to process and system improvements.


Job Description:

• Provides Senior / Advanced medical operations or drug development project support, leading cross-functional coordination and medical / drug development project set up.
• Manages medical / drug development communication and issue escalation, documentation, quality control and leads project oversight.
• Provides staff mentoring, coaching, and oversight / co-ordination of junior Medical Operations Associates (MOA) workloads.
• Acts as subject matter expert for MOA / DDS processes / systems in support of continuous process improvement.
• Manages client portfolios and standalone medical monitoring projects, as required.
