We’re Hiring | Medical Planner

PapyrusMed | Medical Planning & HealthTech Advisory is looking for a Medical Planner to join our team on a part-time, remote basis.

📍 Location: Remote — Egypt preferred

🕐 Employment: Part-Time

🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering

💼 Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• Develop medical planning concepts for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities.
• Prepare space programs, functional relationship diagrams, zoning/stacking plans, and departmental layouts.
• Develop Room Data Sheets (RDS), Room Layout Sheets (RLS), equipment layouts, and medical equipment matrices.
• Coordinate medical planning requirements with architectural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review healthcare design drawings and identify functional, operational, and equipment-related requirements.
• Support medical equipment planning, specifications, and project documentation.
• Apply relevant healthcare standards, guidelines, and local regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Biomedical Engineering graduate.
• 3+ years of experience in medical planning, healthcare design, medical equipment planning, or a related field.
• Good understanding of healthcare departments, clinical workflows, and medical equipment requirements.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD; Revit is an advantage.
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings.
• Good communication, organization, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with MOH, CBAHI, SFDA, JCI, FGI/IHFG or similar healthcare standards is a strong advantage.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work remotely.
